Education
Simon has been involved in music education for the past twenty five years since introducing Jazz to Truro School in the 1980s.
He is an experienced workshop leader for all ages and abilities, introducing students to the art of improvisation through the study of standard tunes and his original compositions.
Qualifications
A graduate teacher and an Associate of the Royal College of Music, Simon is also in demand as a piano teacher of all genres, offering tuition in both music theory and performance up to Grade VIII, with particular experience of the Associate Board Jazz Piano syllabus.
His love of Jazz and commitment to education, along with his excellent communication skills have also proved popular at talks given to fellow professionals.
