This month’s photo was taken with Richard Leach during my recent visit to The Falcon Hotel, Bude, where I was performing with Richard’s 7 stars of Jazz, . A lovely venue full of knowledgeable and appreciative people. It was a most enjoyable evening and a pleasure to be a guest amongst such accomplished musicians. I look forward to performing with them all again at some point in the future. This month I will be playing as a guest with The Swing Empire, at a private function in Falmouth. Always a pleasure to work with this equally talented group of jazz players.

The 18th April sees my own quartet performing at Lovedays in Charlestown, where we will be making a return visit to the St Austell Bay Jazz series of concerts. We intend to premiere a number of new original tunes and am hopeful to be joined for a guest appearance from Lucy O’Day, too.

I’m am also delighted to have secured a solo lunchtime booking in Truro Cathedral as part of their monthly lunchtime concert series. I am thrilled to be invited to play in such a prestigious venue and look forward to playing their new Steinway concert grand piano.

The Sunday lunchtime jazz dates at The Headland Hotel remain as popular as ever and will run until the end of April providing further chances for you to hear Sarah and I at this beautiful hotel. There have also been a few extra dates added during the Easter vacation and these are posted on the Bookings page which , as always continues to be regularly updated with any last minute additions and also includes information on my residency at The Budock Vean Hotel where I also play twice weekly.
